Sharp announced a little update on its Aquos line-up with the D series. Available in 32, 26 and 20″, our HD Ready TVs feature a resolution of 1366×768 with a contrast ratio of 3000:1 on the 32″ and 1500:1 on both the 26 and 20″.
Now the most interesting part of this news is Sharp’s new power consumption technology giving us a for example just 60W per year for the 32″ model (compare to the 66W on the previous generation) as well as offering la CD built to last approximately 60 000 hours, as well as using “greener” plastics
