If you have ran a yum update -y on you asterisk box and are having trouble with the new kernel you will need to boot the original kernel for now until a new zaptel is released from asterisk.org i think, i could be wrong. heres how to fix your asterisk boxs’ though if youve already upgraded your kernel. the process below changes your default boot kernel to your previous working version, in my case 2.6.9-22.EL cd /boot/grub nano grub.conf change default=0 to default=1 cntrl-x save and reboot. after reboot you may need to rebuild_zaptel, however i did not.
