Reported in Akihabara news that pioneer is stopping the production of their three latest Laser Disk players, the DVL-919 and the DVL-K88
Pioneer sold over 3.6 million Laser Disk players in japan from 1981 to 2002 .
I though thus format had died some time ago !!!!
Just a reminder of the size when compared to a DVD or CD
